As the city of Liverpool welcomes the Clipper Race fleet back to our city, there’s a whole host of family friendly performances on the bandstand outside Martin Luther King Jr Building, Salthouse Dock. The performances are from 12pm – 6pm on Saturday and 12pm – 5pm on Sunday and will highlight some of the exciting harbours across the globe that the Clipper Race crews have visited.
Lion Dance and Martial Arts by Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu
Exploring the city and Culture Liverpool’s links with China, Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu will take to the bandstand with their colourful Lions and some Kung Fu demonstrations.

LUMA Creation & OLC brings together the wonderful rhythms of CANDOMBE from Uruguay and Latin American dance forms to present an exciting performance which connects Uruguay with Panama and Latin American rhythms and movement. A colourful example of a continent full of life, vibrancy and energy.
