The Liverpool Arab Arts Festival (8 –  16 July), is the UK’s biggest annual celebration of Arab arts and culture and this year will take over the World Museum for a FREE Saturday extravaganza. The whole family can attend the event to discover the creativity captivating stories, and fascinating traditions of the Arab diaspora.

These live performances are presented in response to the World Museum’s renowned ancient Egyptian collection. Liverpool Arab Arts Festival will bring a thrilling celebration of Arab culture to venues across the city, showcasing the richness of Arab culture through a packed programme of visual art, music, dance, film, theatre, literature and special events.

This year, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival will be staging around 35 events throughout Summer of Love including a joyful public celebration of Eid on Lodge Lane (Saturday 8 July), a concert by world-renowned Palestinian singer, writer and performer Reem Kelani in the Philharmonic Hall Music Room (Saturday 15 July), and the hugely popular LAAF Family Day at Sefton Park Palm House providing the high energy finale (Sunday 16 July).
