Born in 1988 in Valladolid, Esther holds the prestigious PhD cum laude title from the Faculty of Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain where she is an Honorary Fellow in the Sculpture Department. Esther completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts between Saint-Luc Liège, the University of Barcelona and the Complutense University of Madrid. She has published texts in El Estado Mental, La Raya Verde, eNudo, Brigada Mixta and NexValladolid. She has also developed projects regarding the artistic mobilisation of inappropriate spaces, which include Espacio Pool at La Trasera; Palique al Cubo (Blanco) at Javier Silva Gallery; Cottage Kilns at CreArt (Network of European Artistic Cities); Grados, aristas at El Huerto del Tertuliano and Donde Fueres, Zorrilla, with Play Dramaturgia. Alongside this, Esther has conducted workshops such as Drawing and Action, with Miguel Guzmán at Espacio Islandia and is currently a tutor of Art and Space at VEGA. Her work has been exhibited at various art institutions including Matadero Madrid, La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Picasso Museum (Barcelona), Cartec (Madrid), Biblioteca Riograndense (Brazil), Sala de Exposiciones Las Francesas (Valladolid), Rampa (Madrid), Estudio Mendoza (Madrid), Getxoarte (with Salón) and CENTEX Valparaíso (Chile).
