Cristina R. Vecino was born in 1984 in Valladolid, Spain. A graduate in Audiovisual Communication, she combined her university studies with grants from both television and press companies. In 2008, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Video Edition and Post-production from Trazos School in Madrid. Four years later, she attended a Documentary Making Workshop at the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). Following on from this, in 2013, she established her own creative space El Carrusel-Taller de Fotografía in Valladolid, Spain. Since then, she has worked as a cultural manager and a curator of photography, as well as creating her own artistic projects. She is also represented by the Contemporary Art Gallery Javier Silva.
