We curated an outdoor, pop-up stage in Liverpool ONE named ‘Cloud Sheep’, where we called out to artists asking them to come along and perform live in front of a socially distanced audience.
In parallel with our own name Stealing Sheet, ‘Cloud Sheep’, gave us fresh inspiration, allowing us to re-imagine a fun yet safe way to perform in the public realm, plus showcasing upcoming artists in these unprecedented times.
We hoped that giving people a platform to express themselves in a safely distanced open air environment would help to lift spirits and re-connect the artists with their passion for performance and music, whilst also opening our eyes and preparing us for what the future might hold for live music at present.
The music community is so important to us, and we wanted to encourage and support local acts, whilst having Covid safe fun, outside, listening to new music whilst dancing around ‘Cloud Sheep’, our alternate, squashy, cloud reality.
