A celebration of the best of modern Chinese culture with a focus on our sister city, Shanghai, ahead of the 20th anniversary of the twinning of cities in 2019. Working with some of the leading artists in Shanghai, who will present their exciting projects in Liverpool, inspired by the China Dream.

Liverpool and Shanghai’s parallels span an even greater amount of time – The Three Graces on The Bund, Shanghai’s waterfront, were modelled on The Three Graces of Liverpool.
