Members of the Armed Forces will be able to travel on any service for free. Members of the Armed Forces who are in uniform, or able to show an identification card can claim free travel. The offer is also open to members of the cadet forces in uniform and veterans who display valid identification such as the MOD issues veterans badge.

Merseyrail will be honouring the armed forces community this year with free travel for all serving personnel and veterans in and out of the city centre on Armed Forces Day (Saturday 29 June 2019).
Anyone wishing to attend the event should use James Street from the Wirral line and Liverpool Central from the Northern line.
To receive free travel, veterans and armed forces personnel must present their Armed Forces ID, Veterans Badge with a photo ID or be dressed in their full uniform.

Western Approaches
Walk through hidden rooms and discover the stories locked in the wartime bunker that protected the tactics and secrets of the British Armed Forces plotting to bulwark the Western Approaches and aid the Allied victory.
Glimpse the documents and tools the forces used to monitor enemy convoys and inform the British government of their findings whilst keeping their intelligence secret from the enemy, including one of only two surviving wartime phones which had a direct connection to the war cabinet in London.
See where commanders and WRNS and WAAF personnel worked every day and night in the Map Room, the nerve centre of the Battle of the Atlantic. Here they monitored convoy routes and vital shipping lines, and pin-pointed enemy locations on a huge map laid across the table; total accuracy was necessary to enable the Royal Navy to contact and destroy the enemy.
The Map Room has remained exactly how as it was left when the doors were closed on 15 August 1945.

Epstein Theatre
Since 1913 the Hanover Street venue formally known as Cranes Music Hall, Cranes Theatre and The Neptune Theatre has provided a wide range of live entertainment for over 100 years.
This 380 capacity, grade II listed theatre started out infamous for its amateur dramatic groups and has now progressed to being renowned for its rich variety and diverse family programming.
