2014 was a busy year for us here at Culture Liverpool, we hope you were able to make it along to some of our events?
We started the year with Chinese New Year, before rolling along the river with the International Mersey River Festival and Music on the Waterfront concerts in May. We then welcomed some Giant sized visitors to the city to commemorate World War One with Giant Spectacular: Memories of August 1914 before ending the year with world firsts in music, with our very own Liverpool International Music Festival and going out with a bang with Bonfire Night fireworks – just a few of our highlights.
Not to mention a host of exciting events at the fantastic City Halls – including Liverpool Town Hall, St George’s Hall and Croxteth Hall, a fantastic year for inagral calls at our Liverpool Cruise Terminal and a busy time for our Visitor Information Centres welcoming guest to the city – it was a busy year!
As if that wasn’t enough we had a full year in 2015 as well – why not check out a few of our highlights?
